What is the state of the .NET platform?

It’s very are to up to date with all the new technologies coming out.  But if you are a software architect or a project manager, how do get level with all the new technologies. Do not feel bad if you think you are falling behind.  You are not the only one. Well DevTeach and Code magazine is organizing a free event just for you. Join MVP and RD Markus Egger, for an afternoon of free and independent information about current Microsoft development technologies! What is the state of .NET today? Which of the many .NET technologies have gained traction? Which ones can you ignore for now? What's the coming up in .NET? What other Microsoft technologies should you include in your development efforts?

Jean-Rene Roy Bio

Jean-René Roy has been developing IT systems for large and small enterprises since 1987. In 1991 he founded the consulting firm Technologies SoftDesign Inc.

Since that time he has worked on projects for Bell Canada, CGI, ArchiDATA, Keops, House of Communes, Kraft, Innovapost and many other clients assuming the responsibility of Software Developers, Analyst, Team leader, Software architect and mentor. He has been and is still very active in the developers’ community by acting as a user group leader for more than ten years with the Montreal .NET community and the Ottawa .NET community.
